Georgia's Story

I'm Georgia and I live in the Blue Mountains with my family. Life is pretty busy with work, a traineeship, drama and dance classes, learning how to cook and spending time with friends. My NDIS funding has been plan managed since 2016 and has helped me do the things that are important to me and achieve my goals. 
One goal in particular that I had was to join the Blue Mountains Musical Society and to perform in their shows. I found a support worker who was a singer and together we practiced songs for my first audition in between cooking, shopping and going to appointments.
In 2018 I made it into the cast of We Will Rock You and in 2019 I had a solo part in The Wedding Singer. The rehearsals and the shows were pretty full on with hours and hours of practice and late nights but I loved it and would love to do more productions in the future.
