Plan Management

Plan Management is about managing your funding: setting up contracts with your providers, managing the money side and checking that everything is in order.
If you want a Plan Manager you can ask for this and in line the NDIS law it is your right to choose plan management as one of the options. In your NDIS PLan Plan Management is called Improved Live Choices. How much or how little Plan Management you need depends on the complexity of your plan, how many providers you have involved, how much or how little you want to self direct yourself. |
Coordination of Supports

Coordination of Supports help you implement and action your plan and participate more fully in the community. This may include finding and linking you with the right services and supports (mainstream and disability) and building informal supports.
Unlike Plan Management, which is your right, Coordination of Supports falls under 'necessary and reasonable'. With the NDIS this Support Category is called Coordination of Supports and it includes:

Capacity Building is all about learning and strengthening your skills and knowledge to self direct your plan and your life. Under the NDIS there are lots of areas of life where Capacity Building or learning can occur.
