Explore wiht Uzma

In this video, Umza shows us what’s so good about the NDIS when it works well and why people say that if delivered right, the NDIS will contribute to the economy, not cost money.
In the video, Uzma explains that because the NDIS is working well for Hamza, she and her family are free to study and work and make money and pay tax.
         “When Hamza was diagnosed with CP this was probably my biggest fear that probably I'll not be able to leave my home probably I'll not be ever able to do some job”.
So Uzma chose to become a PHD student instead, thinking that she could better fit her study around Hamza’s needs. But with choice and control and the right supports available for Hamza, she says:
         “Now I know the support system is there I can envision myself going to industry, maybe Google, Microsoft... why not?”

Listen to Nina

After her beloved Junction Road Band closed down, Nina didn’t know what to do. Only she really, really wanted to make music. So she just started writing loads of music, hoping and believing that there will be an opportunity showing up.
And it did. In June 2021, Nina and her Band had their first gig.
Since then:
  • Nina released her first album called “Music Colours”
  • Sarah Penicka- Smith, well known Sydney choral conductor and Artistic Director of River City Voices rearranged one of Nina’s songs “Frozen River’ for choir and we hope to hear the world premiere in 2022;
  • and there is talk of Nina going to perform at the Tasmanian Mona Foma festival.

Meet Aaryan

Here is a short video of Aaryan, one of the people we support with our Plan management services.

Aaryan says:
     "The NDIS package has been really useful
Plan management is a lot better because it's really enabled me to become a lot more independent while still getting the help that I need. I can be eye-to-eye, it's a lot better for, like, dancing and, like, talking to the people. I can have an experience that is more similar to everyone else around me."
